There was a time I dulled myself down.
I tried to be more polite. Less intense.
People said, “You’re too much.” So I tried being less.
And guess what? I hated who I became.
God didn’t build you for beige.
He didn’t call you to be palatable.
He gave you fire for a reason.
The world wants to round off your edges. But those edges? They’re your calling. That intensity you feel? That’s not something to hide — that’s your weapon against apathy.
The goal isn’t arrogance. It’s authenticity.
If you’re loud, be bold with purpose.
If you’re quiet, be steady with force.
But don’t shrink to make others comfortable.
Today’s reminder:
The right people won’t need you to be smaller.
The wrong ones will shrink from your flame. Let them.
Scripture Focus:
“For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.”
2 Timothy 1:7
