Your bride — or your fiancée — needs more than your paycheck or promises.

She needs your presence. She needs a man who won’t collapse when the pressure mounts.

God designed the man to be a covering. Paul wrote: “Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.” (Ephesians 5:25).

That means sacrifice, steadiness and strength.

  • Lead with presence, not excuses. When crisis hits, don’t vanish into distraction. Show up.
  • Protect with strength, not fear. Psalm 112:7 says of the righteous man: “He is not afraid of bad news; his heart is firm, trusting in the Lord.”
  • Love with action, not sentiment. Real love is measured in service, not words.

Brother, there will come a day when you will need her strength too. Don’t leave her without yours.

Warrior’s Reminder

Be the man she can run to, not the one she has to carry.

Scripture Focus

“Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.”
1 Corinthians 16:13–14
