Discipline Over Emotion

Emotion is a terrible commander.

Some days you feel motivated.

Some days you feel tired.

Some days you feel discouraged.

The mission doesn’t care.

Napoleon Hill wrote:

“Self-discipline begins with the mastery of your thoughts.”

Dangerous Gentlemen understand something critical: discipline carries you when motivation disappears.

Scripture:

“I discipline my body and keep it under control.”

— 1 Corinthians 9:27

Action:

Do one hard thing today that you don’t feel like doing:

• train

• pray longer

• finish the work

• have the difficult conversation

This is how men forge character.

Warrior’s Reminder:

Emotion is temporary. Discipline builds legacy.

— Victor
