Every man wants freedom. Few realize that freedom begins on the inside.

If you don’t rule yourself, something else will.

Appetite, anger, lust, fear — they are all cruel masters when left unchecked.

• Appetite unchecked leads to bondage. Proverbs warns: “When you sit to dine with a ruler, note well what is before you, and put a knife to your throat if you are given to gluttony.” (Proverbs 23:1–2).
• Words unrestrained destroy trust. James says: “The tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark.” (James 3:5).
• Sexual indulgence without discipline ruins generations. Paul commands: “Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually sins against their own body.” (1 Corinthians 6:18).

A Dangerous Gentleman doesn’t live enslaved to urges. He masters them by God’s Spirit.
