Last month, my youngest daughter was sexually assaulted in broad daylight by a predator in a parking lot. She fought back. He fled like the cowardly piece of crap he is.
This predator is linked to other victims. He is a repeat offender. Right now, justice is being pursued. But in the meantime, our family and others carry wounds that only God can heal.
I ask for your prayers. Pray for my daughter’s healing — physically, emotionally, spiritually. Pray for the other women harmed by this man. Pray for swift, unrelenting justice.
Psalm 10 speaks to this moment: “Arise, Lord! Lift up your hand, O God. Do not forget the helpless… You, Lord, hear the desire of the afflicted; you encourage them, and you listen to their cry, defending the fatherless and the oppressed, so that mere earthly mortals will never again strike terror.”
Evil men fear exposure. We fear nothing but God.
Warrior’s Reminder
Evil may strike, but justice and prayer will always strike back harder.
