She’s not your roommate. She’s not your assistant. She’s not just the mother of your kids.

She is your bride.

And if you’re treating her like a side project instead of a lifelong treasure, you’ve lost your sight as a man of God.

I had to learn to make her feel seen, heard, pursued — not just protected.

Men, your affection cannot be outsourced to work, hobbies or even kids. It must begin and end with her.

Take her face in your hands tonight. Speak life over her. Pray over her. Ask her where she feels unseen — and listen. Then go fix it.
